Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has extended heartfelt congratulations to Chhattisgarh’s daughter and mountaineer Nisha Yadav for her historic achievement of hoisting the Indian tricolor atop Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 meters), the highest peak in Africa. Calling it a source of inspiration for the youth, he remarked that Nisha’s accomplishment is a testament to determination, perseverance, and self-confidence. Her success proves that no peak is insurmountable with dedication and commitment.

CM Sai expressed pride in Nisha’s achievement, calling it a moment of glory for all of Chhattisgarh. He praised her hard work and courage, which have brought honor to the state.

He also shared that a few months ago, he had met Nisha in Bilaspur and, recognizing her determination, had provided her with financial assistance of ₹3.45 lakh to support her journey. Today, with Nisha triumphing over Kilimanjaro and raising the tricolor, it is evident that hard work and proper guidance can turn any dream into reality.

Despite Challenges, She Never Gave Up – Government Stood by Her Side

Nisha Yadav’s journey was anything but easy. The daughter of an auto driver from Bilaspur, she displayed immense courage and determination to chase her dream. Despite limited resources, she never let hardships weaken her spirit and made her mark in mountaineering.

CM Sai emphasized that Nisha’s achievement will serve as a beacon of inspiration for countless young people in Chhattisgarh. He stated that with passion and dedication, no obstacle is too big to overcome. Reaffirming the government’s commitment to promoting sports and adventure activities, he assured that Chhattisgarh’s daughters will receive all necessary support to establish themselves on the international stage.
