Repair Work Begins on Pakka Pul to Purnia Bandha Road

MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora Performs Bhoomi Pujan

Lucknow: MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora inaugurated the repair and layering work of the Pakka Pul to Purnia Bandha road with a Bhoomi Pujan ceremony. The event, held near Khushbu Complex on Bandha Road on Wednesday, was attended by BJP officials, councilors, and local residents. The road repair will provide relief to commuters facing travel difficulties.

Dr. Neeraj Bora highlighted the heavy traffic congestion on Sitapur Road and the significance of Bandha Road as an alternative route. He expressed gratitude to the state government for initiating long-awaited infrastructure improvements in Lucknow North, under the leadership of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He mentioned key development projects, including the construction of a new bridge parallel to the century-old Pakka Pul, replacing the temporary pontoon bridge with a permanent structure, and an upcoming flyover at the Engineering College intersection.

Additionally, ongoing projects include upgrading electricity infrastructure, replacing old cables and bamboo supports with proper poles, and constructing community centers. Roads and alleys are also being renovated. Dr. Bora assured that all pending works will be completed. He further announced that on Thursday at 9 AM, a Bhoomi Pujan will be performed for the repair and layering of a 4 km road near Faizullaganj, adjacent to Ghazipur Balram School.

The event was attended by councilors Avadhesh Tripathi, Pradeep Shukla, Ramudas Kanojia, and several BJP leaders, including Raman Nigam, Chandra Shekhar Gupta, and others. Local residents also participated in the ceremony.
