Adani Foundation Pledges ‘Temples of Education’ Across India

• Commits INR 2,000 Cr to establish affordable, world-class schools in metropolitan and Tier II-IV cities
• Partners with GEMS Education to develop an initial network of 20 K-12 schools
• 30% of CBSE seats reserved for underprivileged and deserving students

Ahmedabad : The Adani Foundation has partnered with GEMS Education, a global leader in private K-12 education, to establish high-quality educational institutions across India. With an initial commitment of INR 2,000 Cr from the Adani family, the initiative aims to make world-class education accessible and affordable to students from all sections of society.

Guided by Chairman Gautam Adani’s social philosophy—Seva Sadhana Hai, Seva Prarthana Hai, Aur Seva Hi Parmatma Hai—the partnership will also focus on creating research institutions dedicated to enhancing teaching competencies through innovation and skill development.

The first ‘Adani GEMS School of Excellence’ will open in Lucknow in the academic year 2025-26, with at least 20 such schools planned across major metropolitan and Tier II-IV cities over the next three years. These schools will integrate global best practices with Indian education systems, leveraging Adani’s infrastructure expertise and GEMS Education’s academic excellence. 30% of CBSE seats in these schools will be reserved for underprivileged and deserving students.
