Mines Department Seizes 9 Vehicles Involved in Illegal Sand Transportation in Badliyas, Bagaur, Raipur, and Mandalgarh

Jaipur – The Mines Department teams from Bhilwara and Bijolia conducted an operation early Monday morning, cracking down on illegal sand transportation. During the raid, nine vehicles were seized and handed over to the respective police stations.

SME Shri O.P. Kabra stated that the department’s team seized three tractors and one trailer in Badliyas, which were then handed over to Badliyas police station. Similarly, one tractor-trolley transporting illegal sand was seized and sent to Bagaur police station, while another tractor-trolley was seized by the Bhilwara ME team and handed over to Raipur police station.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Superintendent Engineer O.P. Kabra, with the Bhilwara ME officer Mahesh Sharma and Bijolia ME officer Praveen Agarwal leading their teams in surprise early-morning inspections, resulting in these seizures.

Additionally, ME Bijolia Praveen Agarwal, along with Foreman Giriraj Meena’s team, seized three tractor-trolleys in the Mandalgarh police station area, which were handed over to the Mandalgarh police.

Shri Kabra emphasized that all mineral engineers and assistant mineral engineers in the region have been directed to conduct strict inspections and nighttime patrols to curb illegal mining activities.
