‘Water Vision 2047’ Summit in Udaipur – CM Bhajanlal Sharma Hosts Dinner for Water Ministers

Jaipur : Ahead of the second All India State Water Ministers’ Conference scheduled for February 18-19 in Udaipur, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma hosted a dinner on Monday night at the Jag Mandir complex in honor of the conference participants.

The evening featured a cultural program, where folk artists captivated the audience with mesmerizing performances. Prior to the event, Chief Minister Sharma, along with Union Minister for Jal Shakti, C.R. Patil, arrived at Jag Mandir by boat.

The dinner was attended by Ladakh’s Lieutenant Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.), Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat, Public Health Engineering Minister Kanhaiya Lal, Tribal Regional Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat, Additional Chief Secretary for Water Resources Abhay Kumar, along with ministers, legislators, and officials from various states.

Notably, the two-day ‘Water Vision 2047’ conference, organized by the National Water Mission under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, is being held in Udaipur, the “City of Lakes,” from February 18. This national conference focuses on water management and conservation, bringing together Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers, and ministers from various departments, including Water Resources, Public Health Engineering, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Forest, and Environment, along with key government officials.
