UP Board examinees to receive first aid and psychiatric support
Lucknow : The Uttar Pradesh Board examinations are set to commence on Monday, with the Yogi government implementing comprehensive measures to ensure a transparent, secure, and cheat-free process. This year, along with enhanced security at examination centers, special attention has been paid to students’ physical and mental well-being.
Following Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s directive, first aid facilities will be available at all examination centers to handle emergencies. Health kits, medical equipment, and trained personnel will be on standby to provide immediate assistance.
Acknowledging the stress students face during exams, the government has also introduced psychiatric counseling services. Trained psychiatrists will be available at each center to help students manage anxiety and mental pressure, ensuring they perform at their best.
Regular counselling sessions will be held to boost students’ confidence and alleviate their concerns. Additionally, special help desks have been set up to assist female candidates.
The Yogi government has devised a strategy involving media representatives in the monitoring process to strengthen transparency further.
Live coverage and reporting from examination centers will deter unfair practices and ensure immediate action against irregularities. This proactive approach underscores the government’s commitment to conducting fair and smooth examinations while prioritizing students’ well-being.
