State Minority Affairs Dept Reviews Progress, Focuses on Timely Completion of Projects
Additional Chief Secretary, Minority Affairs Department, Conducts State-Level Review Meeting – Ensures Completion of Pending Works Within the Current Fiscal Year – Emphasizes Forming Think Tanks at District Level to Maintain Work Quality and Timeliness
Jaipur – Additional Chief Secretary of the Minority Affairs Department, Shri Ashwini Bhagat, directed officials stationed at the department’s headquarters and all District Minority Welfare Officers to maximize enrollments in government minority residential schools and ensure the completion of all pending works within the current financial year.
Chairing the state-level review meeting of the Minority Affairs Department at the Secretariat on Friday, Shri Bhagat emphasized that District Minority Welfare Officers and Program Officers should form think tanks at the district level and hold monthly discussions to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks. He instructed that records be maintained for all movable and immovable assets of the department across districts and that these be utilized effectively to benefit the public.
The Additional Chief Secretary further directed District Minority Welfare Officers to conduct frequent inspections of government minority residential schools, engage with students, ensure food quality, and verify the availability of basic amenities. He also instructed them to update related information on the “TIMES” portal. Stressing the importance of e-filing, he urged its full implementation.
Addressing senior officials from various agencies, including PWD, Rajasthan State Agricultural Marketing Board, RSRDC, and ICDS, Shri Bhagat called for coordinated efforts with the department to complete all pending works within the current financial year. He also emphasized prioritizing projects that are in their final stages to ensure swift benefits to the public.
The meeting was attended by Shri Matadin Meena, Director of the Minority Affairs Department; Ms. Neetu Barupal, Joint Secretary of Minority Affairs; along with senior officials from the State Madarsa Board, Rajasthan Minority Commission, RMFDCC, and other department representatives. All District Minority Welfare Officers also participated in the meeting via video conferencing.
