Agriculture Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam Celebrates His Birthday by Serving Mother Cow
Raipur : Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam celebrated his birthday in a humble and spiritual manner by serving cows at the Gokul Nagar Gaushala in Raipur. On this occasion, he performed a special puja, offered jaggery as tuladaan to the cows, and prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the people of the state. As a gesture of support, he announced a grant of ₹1 lakh for the development of the Gaushala committee.

To start his day, Minister Netam visited Rajim, known as the “Prayag of Chhattisgarh,” where he worshiped Lord Rajiv Lochan before resuming his daily work. At his residence in Nava Raipur, a large number of public representatives, volunteers, officials, employees, and citizens gathered to extend their greetings and best wishes on his birthday.
At the Gaushala, Minister Netam personally fed the cows with jaggery and fodder, and even held a calf in his arms, encouraging people to take care of cows. Later, he visited the Physical Referral and Rehabilitation Center at Mana Camp, where he celebrated his birthday by cutting a cake with the children and inquiring about their well-being. His family members were also present at the event.
During the visit, Minister Netam reminisced about his school days and shared motivational stories of great personalities who overcame struggles. He advised the children to embrace challenges as a source of strength rather than fear them. Assuring them of the state government’s commitment, he emphasized that under Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s leadership, all possible efforts would be made to secure their bright future.
A large number of representatives, officials, employees, women, and members of various organizations visited his official residence in Nava Raipur to personally convey their best wishes on his birthday.
