Budget to Give a Boost to Chhattisgarh’s Growth
A Budget Designed to Meet Both Present and Future Needs

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized that this budget follows the motto “From Knowledge to Acceleration.” While last year’s budget focused on the poor, youth, farmers, and women, this year’s budget aims to advance governance, infrastructure, technology, and industrial growth.

A Budget in Line with Atal Ji’s Vision
To mark the birth centenary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the government has allocated over ₹26,000 crore for capital expenditure. Atal Ji’s dream of interlinking rivers will also be realized under this budget.

Boosting Youth Employment and High-Tech Agriculture
The budget focuses on creating new opportunities for youth through entrepreneurship and employment, while also ensuring provisions for modern agricultural practices.

A Development-Oriented Budget

This budget not only addresses current needs but also lays a solid foundation for the future infrastructure of a developed Chhattisgarh. It aims to enhance the state’s agricultural economy while transforming Chhattisgarh into an industrial and IT hub.

While presenting the budget for the second year of his government, CM Vishnu Deo Sai highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, the state is moving towards becoming a developed Chhattisgarh. The budget focuses on fiscal reforms, governance improvements, and the effective use of funds to drive welfare programs. He added that the “Triple Engine Government” is accelerating the state’s progress, and the budget provisions will further boost this momentum.

The CM reiterated that last year’s budget was built on the vision of an inclusive and developed India, with a focus on the poor, youth, farmers, and women. This year, the budget theme is “Acceleration through Knowledge,” which aligns with the goals of the Triple Engine Government. The focus is on:

CM Sai stated that the government has a clear roadmap for Chhattisgarh’s holistic growth, and the Triple Engine Government will work at full speed to achieve this. He paid tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee, highlighting that the government is celebrating his centenary year as “Atal Nirman Varsh” and working towards his dream of making Chhattisgarh a developed state.

Key Infrastructure and Development Initiatives:

• Raipur-Durg Metro Service Feasibility Study
• Establishment of New Industrial Parks with a ₹700 crore budget
• Interlinking of major rivers like Mahanadi-Indravati and Kodar-Sikasar
• ₹1,500 crore allocation for new irrigation projects

Investing in Human Capital and Industrial Growth

The government has allocated funds for:

• New hospitals, modern schools, and adequate staffing
• 12 new engineering colleges and 12 polytechnic institutes
• ₹700 crore Industrial Subsidy Support for startups and businesses
• Capital expenditure of ₹26,000 crore, an 18% increase from the previous year

The CM emphasized that investments in capital expenditure yield long-term benefits, and this budget has been designed with an inclusive approach, adhering to the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.”

A Budget for Holistic Development

Inspired by the ideals of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, the budget includes special provisions for marginalized communities and holistic development. It continues funding for last year’s schemes focused on the poor, youth, farmers, women, and tribal development, while also introducing new initiatives.
