Preparatory Meeting for the Annual Work Plan 2025-26 of Samagra Shiksha & PAB
Priority Given to ICT Infrastructure, Vocational Education, and Special Needs Children – Guidelines for Fund Transfer and Expenditure to Be Developed
Jaipur : The Project Approval Board (PAB) meeting for the Annual Work Plan of Samagra Shiksha and PM Shri for 2025-26 is scheduled to be held on March 18 in Delhi, under the chairmanship of the Secretary, Ministry of Education, Government of India. In preparation for this, a preparatory meeting was conducted on Saturday, chaired by Krishna Kunal, Secretary of the Education Department.
During the meeting, the Secretary directed that special priority be given to Vocational Education, Children with Special Needs (CWSN), and ICT Infrastructure in the Annual Work Plan 2025-26. He also instructed all Deputy Commissioners to update the expenditure data for all demands at the earliest and ensure the immediate completion of pending tasks while formulating the upcoming Action Plan. Additionally, he emphasized the need for a separate guideline for fund transfers and expenditures to facilitate monitoring and prioritization of essential projects.
The meeting also reviewed budget allocations for Pre-Primary Education, NIPUN Bharat Mission, Quality Education, Teacher Education, Netaji Subhash Chandra Residential Schools, and RTE Fee Reimbursement. Special focus was placed on Kasturba Gandhi Balika Residential Schools, ensuring that girls receive all designated benefits and fundamental facilities.
The meeting was attended by State Project Director & Commissioner of Samagra Shiksha Rajasthan, Anupama Jorwal; Finance Advisor, Sushil Sharma; Deputy Commissioners Monika Balara and Om Prabha; Superintending Engineers, along with other Deputy Directors and Assistant Directors.
