Application Windows Open For Recruitment Into Indian Army For Recruiting Year 2025-26
The online application window for recruitment into the Indian Army under various categories is now open for aspiring candidates.
The official notification for the recruitment of unmarried youth under the Agniveer (Male & Female), Zonal, and Central categories was published on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in on March 12, 2025, for the Recruiting Year 2025-26. Applications are invited from domiciles of 11 districts in Tamil Nadu under the Recruiting Office (Headquarters), Chennai. These districts include Cuddalore, Vellore, Tirupathur, Ranipet, Tiruvannamalai, Chennai, Thiruvallur, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Kancheepuram, and Chengalpattu, along with Puducherry District (Puducherry Union Territory) and all districts of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The recruitment is open for the following categories:
- Agniveer General Duty
- Agniveer Technical
- Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical
- Agniveer Tradesman (10th Pass & 8th Pass)
- Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant
- Sepoy Pharma
- Agniveer General Duty (Women Military Police)
Agniveer candidates can apply for any two categories based on their eligibility. The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be conducted in 13 languages, including Tamil. Bonus marks will be awarded to ITI and Diploma holders as well as NCC-qualified candidates. Applications must be submitted online only at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
The application window closes on April 10, 2025. Admit cards for the online written exam, scheduled for June 2025, will be issued online. Candidates should regularly check www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and their registered email IDs for updates. The recruitment process is fully automated, fair, and transparent. Candidates must beware of touts and fraudsters who falsely claim they can guarantee selection.
