Chief Minister gives a grant of Rs 21 lakh for Divya Gita Satsang
Chandigarh – Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that every human being must adopt the teachings of the holy book Gita in his life. Only through these teachings can the world be brought on one platform, because the solution to all the problems of the whole world, including fear, worries and stress, lies in these teachings. Not only this, to face all the challenges of the world, this divine book gives the message of knowledge and action.
The Chief Minister was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the three-day Divya Gita Satsang organized in the premises of Ladwa Hindu High School on Saturday with the cooperation of Shri Krishna Kripa. Earlier, the Chief Minister performed Aarti and honoured Gita scholar Swami Gyananand Maharaj by garlanding him. Gita scholar Swami Gyananand presented a memento to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister announced a grant of Rs 21 lakh for the Divya Gita Satsang.
The Chief Minister said that since ancient times, saints and gurus have shown the true path of spirituality. Gita scholar Swami Gyananand is working as a carrier to take forward this tradition. Swami Gyananand is propagating the teachings of the holy book Gita in every corner of the world. It is due to the efforts of Swami Gyananand that the small celebration of Gita Jayanti has started being celebrated as an international festival since the year 2016. International Gita Mahotsav was organised not only in the country but also in Mauritius, London, Australia, Sri Lanka and Canada. The Gita Gyan Sansthanam has also played an important role in the successful organisation of these programmes. In this institute, good preachers are also being prepared to spread the teachings of Gita to the people.
He said that the teachings of the holy book Gita show the solution to all the problems of the 21st century and the path to the welfare of humanity. With these immortal messages, the whole world can be tied in a thread of unity and brotherhood.
Gita scholar Swami Gyananand Maharaj presented the story of the beginning of the holy book Gita on the first day of Divya Gita Satsang and said the holy book Gita has 700 verses. These verses show the path to solve worries and problems of the world.
He said that the holy book Gita was composed on the holy land of Kurukshetra. On this holy land, 5162 years ago, during the Mahabharata war, Lord Shri Krishna gave the message of doing karma to the entire humanity.
After the satsang programme, while talking to journalists, the Chief Minister said that in the assembly session, all the Opposition members were heard carefully and the answers to their questions were also given, but when the works done by the government for the development of the state were presented, all the Opposition members left the House.
He said the state budget will be presented in the assembly on March 17. This will be a budget for the welfare of every section, including the poor, farmers, women and youth.
