CM Yogi will welcome the Prime Minister on his arrival in Varanasi.
Varanasi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after assuming office for the third time, is all set to visit Kashi on Tuesday (June 18) to express his gratitude to the people for electing him. This visit will span two days starting from June 18, following the results of the 18th Lok Sabha elections.
The Prime Minister will also address the ‘Kisan Samman Sammelan’ at Mehdiganj in the Sevapuri Assembly constituency, a significant event for the farming community, during his two-day visit to Kashi.
This is Modi’s first visit to his constituency since he became the PM for third time in a row. The PM will also visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and participate in the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. He will be accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister Modi will release the 17th instalment of approximately 20,000 crores to about 9.26 crore under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme and distribute certificates to over 30,000 women from self-help groups.
The Bharatiya Janata Party aims for 50,000 farmers to attend the Kisan Sammelan.
Meanwhile, the people of Kashi and BJP workers are preparing to give a grand welcome to their MP. The Prime Minister will arrive at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Babatpur at around 3:30 PM, from where he will take a helicopter to the Mehdiganj public meeting venue, where he will address a gathering of farmers.
Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Baba Vishwanath and Maa Ganga last time during his nomination for thr seat.
After winning the election and securing his third term as Prime Minister, he will again offer prayers at Baba Vishwanath’s temple on Tuesday and participate in the Darshan-Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will receive the PM at the airport, and accompany him at all the planned events. Prime Minister will stay overnight at Bareka and depart for Delhi on June 19.
Alongside BJP workers, the people of Kashi are gathering to welcome the Prime Minister. A grand reception is planned at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Babatpur and the Mehndiganj Gram Sabha site.
From the Police Line to Dashashwamedh Ghat and Vishwanath Temple Gate No. 4, BJP workers and residents of Kashi will greet the Prime Minister with drums, nagadas, damru groups, conch shells, and rose petals.
