CM Dr. Yadav: Assess Industrial Proposals Under New Investment Policies

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that following the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, substantial investment proposals have been received. The state government is committed to facilitating industrial unit establishments in line with the new investment promotion policies. Relevant departments must promptly assess proposals and support industry establishment.

In a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Investment Promotion, Dr. Yadav discussed various proposals with ministers and senior officials. He instructed departments to examine projects in sectors such as Data Center (Bhopal), IT Infrastructure Developer (Indore), Power Sector (Singrauli – Sasan Power Limited), Ferrous Alloy (Ratlam), Plywood, Industry (Bhind), Food Processing Units (Morena & Dhar), Cement Industry (Neemuch), Paper, Plastic & Packaging (Raisen)

These industries will be eligible for incentives under the new industrial promotion policies of the state government.

Employment Generation

The meeting highlighted that these new investments would create around 13,000 jobs in the state, including 870 jobs from the IT Park in Barwai, Bhopal, 10,000 jobs from IT Infra Developer in Indore’s Super Corridor, 750 jobs in Plywood Industry (Bhind), 320 jobs in Food Processing Unit (Morena), 549 jobs in Food Processing Unit (Dhar) and 556 jobs in Cement Sector (Neemuch).

The meeting was attended by Energy Minister Shri Pradyumn Singh Tomar, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Minister Shri Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap, Culture, Tourism & Religious Trusts Minister (Independent Charge) Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Skill Development & Employment Minister (Independent Charge) Shri Gautam Tetwal, Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary (CMO) Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary (Science & Technology) Shri Sanjay Kumar Dubey, Additional Chief Secretary (Forest Department) Shri Ashok Barnwal, Principal Secretary (Industries & Investment Promotion) Shri Raghavendra Kumar Singh, Other senior officials, This investment drive is expected to significantly boost employment and economic development in Madhya Pradesh.
