Over 5.1 Million Farmers Registered for Farmer ID in Rajasthan
Registration Camps to Ensure Enrollment of Every Farmer
Jaipur : Under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, a significant step is being taken to digitally empower farmers in Rajasthan. As part of the Agristack Initiative, farmer registration camps are being conducted across all districts of the state until March 31 to create unique Farmer IDs for every farmer.
A review meeting was held on Wednesday at Pant Krishi Bhavan, chaired by Principal Secretary of the Revenue Department, Dinesh Kumar, via video conference with all district collectors to assess the progress of the farmer registration camps. He emphasized that every farmer must be registered through these village-level Agristack camps.
So far, 9,805 camps have been conducted across the state, registering 5.1 million (51,10,310) farmers under the scheme.
Farmers Benefiting from Multiple Government Schemes
Apart from generating Farmer IDs, these registration camps are also helping farmers access various government schemes, including:
- PM Surya Ghar Yojana
- CM Arogya Ayushman Yojana
- Kisan Credit Card
- Mangal Pashu Bima Yojana (Animal Insurance)
- Livestock Vaccination & Veterinary Services
- Medical & Health Services
- Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Schemes
- Social Justice & Empowerment Programs
- Agriculture & Horticulture Department Initiatives
Unique 11-Digit Farmer ID for Seamless Access to Government Benefits
Under this initiative, each farmer is assigned a unique 11-digit Farmer ID, which will facilitate easy access to government schemes and services. This ID will be crucial for availing benefits under:
- PM-Kisan & CM Kisan Samman Nidhi Schemes
- Other agriculture-related welfare programs
The meeting was also attended by Chief Knowledge Officer of Agristack (Government of India), Rajeev Chawla, along with Agriculture Commissioner Chinmayi Gopal, Horticulture Commissioner Suresh Kumar Ola, Revenue Commissioner Arun Kumar Garg, and other officials from the Agriculture and Revenue Departments.
