Citizens Should Have a Positive Outlook Towards Government Offices – Dr. Chandrakant Pulkundwar

Solapur : As per the Chief Minister’s directive, the 100-day action plan is being effectively implemented across the state, including Solapur district. This initiative aims to shift public perception of government offices from negative to positive. Solapur district must secure the first rank at the state level under this program, urged Divisional Commissioner Dr. Chandrakant Pulkundwar.

Dr. Pulkundwar was speaking during a review meeting of the 100-day action plan held at the Planning Committee hall. The meeting was attended by District Collector Kumar Aashirwad, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Sachin Ombase, City Police Commissioner M. Rajkumar, CEO of Zilla Parishad Kuldeep Jangam, Additional District Collector Monika Singh Thakur, Deputy Collector (Revenue) Amrut Natekar, and other key officials from various departments.

Dr. Pulkundwar emphasized that all state government offices in the district must actively participate in the 100-day action plan. Offices yet to join should immediately coordinate with the district administration to ensure the effective implementation of the seven-point program. He acknowledged the Solapur district administration’s commendable work and urged all office heads to meticulously plan their initiatives to secure the district’s first position in the state rankings.

As part of the action plan, the District Collector’s Office’s land sanad distribution initiative has been widely appreciated. Dr. Pulkundwar noted that this program is unique and highly beneficial for citizens compared to other districts. He also expressed satisfaction over the appointment of a dedicated officer for record digitization and streamlining of land documents.

Additionally, he directed that CCTV cameras be installed in all Zilla Parishad and Municipal Corporation schools immediately. Funds for this should be arranged through government allocations and CSR funds.

Cleanliness and Accountability in Government Offices

Dr. Pulkundwar stressed that all office heads are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in their offices and premises, including visitor restrooms. He instructed officials at the district and taluka levels to ensure proper hygiene and upkeep.

He also warned that inspections will soon be conducted by higher authorities to evaluate the implementation of the action plan. He urged officials to put in their best efforts to ensure Solapur district performs exceptionally well.

Creating an Industry-Friendly Environment in Solapur

Dr. Pulkundwar highlighted that investment in the district will lead to significant industrial growth. Hence, efforts should be made to ensure there are no obstacles for investors and infrastructure projects. He emphasized that Solapur should be industry-friendly, and any hindrance to investment will be closely monitored by the Chief Minister’s Office.

District Collector Kumar Aashirwad provided a detailed report on the progress under the 100-day action plan, including innovative initiatives. Zilla Parishad CEO Kuldeep Jangam presented updates on the work undertaken by the Zilla Parishad.

The session began with a presentation by Deputy Collector (Revenue) Amrut Natekar, who outlined the revenue department’s initiatives. The meeting also included participation from sub-divisional officers, tehsildars, block development officers, and other taluka-level officials.
