MP Etela Rajender’s Response to the All-Party Meeting on Delimitation in Tamil Nadu

The central government has not yet made any announcement regarding delimitation. The opposition’s approach is like worrying about a baby before it is even born. This unnecessary chaos is unwarranted.

Regional parties, unable to fulfill their promises to the people, are shifting the blame onto the central government for their own benefit. They lack honesty and sincerity and are inciting people for their selfish political gains. They have neither integrity nor a sense of justice.

Congress and BRS are two sides of the same coin, always scheming for power. While the BJP focuses on the welfare of the people, these parties think only about their personal gains. Revanth Reddy can hold as many meetings as he wants.

Decisions will be made to encourage South Indian states that have successfully controlled population growth, not to discourage them. Speaking prematurely before any decision is made is not the right approach—it’s too early to comment. It is best to respond once the central government announces its policies. We urge everyone to participate in the country’s progress.

The Congress party, which once ruled India, should think in terms of national interest rather than resorting to narrow-minded politics. Congress has now degraded itself to the level of a regional party. The BJP, on the other hand, takes a progressive approach and supports progressive states. People should not fall for false propaganda on social media and organize meetings based on misinformation.

In Himachal Pradesh, Congress spread similar lies and has now collapsed. In Telangana, we have also tried to counter such false narratives. We warned them to make promises based on the state’s financial condition, but they ignored it. Now, we can all see the consequences.

We allocated ₹2,97,000 crore in the budget, but the Chief Minister himself admits that they are unable to spend even ₹70,000 crore. The government is struggling with debts and failing to pay salaries and allowances. It is not us but Revanth Reddy who has raised his hands in helplessness.

Congress has ruined Karnataka, which was once a well-developed state. They have pushed states into decline, burdening them with debts and leaving people in distress. Instead of engaging in false propaganda, they should focus on governance and delivering on their promises.

Adilabad parliamentary constituency has 14 lakh voters, while Malkajgiri has 38 lakh voters. Urbanization is happening rapidly, and this imbalance needs to be addressed.

False claims were made that if the BJP comes to power, the Constitution will be changed. No one has the power to do so, and yet deceivers and liars continue to mislead people. The claim that seats will be reduced is also part of the same propaganda.

For the BJP, the nation comes first, the party comes next, and politics comes last. People across all states have accepted Narendra Modi as their Prime Minister. From Arunachal Pradesh to Gujarat, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, the entire country stands with Modi.

Our motto is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas (Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all, Efforts by all). Narendra Modi believes that the development of states is directly linked to the development of the nation.

The central government is building national highways across all states, including Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, even where the BJP is not in power. Railways, industries, and overall development are being carried out equally in all regions. Ours is not a government that functions based on political considerations.

The ongoing propaganda regarding delimitation is false and deceptive.
