CM Devendra Fadnavis Hands Over Appointment Letters to Healthcare Recruits
680 Group ‘D’ Posts Filled Through Direct Recruitment
Nagpur : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis distributed appointment letters to selected candidates for 680 Group ‘D’ posts in government healthcare institutions, including Government Medical Colleges, Dental, and Ayurveda Colleges, along with nine affiliated hospitals. He extended congratulations to the recruits and instructed them to provide high-quality service to patients.
For several years, 680 Group ‘D’ positions had remained vacant in government hospitals across the district. CM Fadnavis had earlier directed an immediate recruitment process for these posts. Following his orders, a District Selection Committee was formed under the District Collector, with the Dean of Government Medical College serving as Member Secretary.
At Ramgiri, CM handed over appointment letters to 13 candidates as a symbolic representation of the recruitment process. Dr. Raj Gajbhiye, Dean of Government Medical College, was also present at the event.
Recruitment Process & Vacancy Distribution:
The recruitment was conducted following social and parallel reservation guidelines, with applications invited online. A total of 680 candidates were selected, with vacancies distributed as follows:
- Government Medical College – 66 posts
- Government Medical College & Hospitals – 344 posts
- Super Specialty Government Medical College & Hospital – 19 posts
- Rural Health Center, Savner – 11 posts
- Indira Gandhi Government Medical College – 57 posts
- Indira Gandhi Government Medical College & Hospital – 135 posts
- Government Dental College & Hospital – 22 posts
- Government Ayurveda College – 3 posts
- Government Ayurveda Hospital – 23 posts
This recruitment aims to strengthen healthcare services and ensure better patient care in government hospitals.
