The so-called “Modi’s Guarantee”—promising ₹2,500 per month to Delhi’s women and a free LPG cylinder on Holi—has proven to be nothing but a hollow jumla. Instead of implementing the promised scheme, the BJP-led Delhi government has conveniently formed a three-member committee, a clear tactic to indefinitely shelve the scheme without any real intention of fulfilling its commitment.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In a statement, the Aam Aadmi Party stated, “The BJP’s deception is an outright betrayal of the women of Delhi, who were promised financial relief and support. Now, the same BJP that spoke of ‘Modi’s Guarantee’ has betrayed the women of Delhi by denying their rightful financial assistance, despite inheriting a surplus budget from AAP. Leader of Opposition Atishi has already highlighted how AAP MLAs have faced repeated interruptions and arbitrary suspensions, showing BJP’s sheer intolerance toward democratic debate.
