<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Saharanpur : Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Saharanpur has witnessed unprecedented development over the past eight years. From farmers to women and the underprivileged, every section of society has benefited from government schemes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Compared to previous administrations, the Yogi government has made three times higher payments for sugarcane procurement, purchased six times more paddy, and doubled wheat procurement, significantly benefiting farmers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For the first time, 3,06,519 farmers in Saharanpur have received benefits under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, while 73,570 farmers have been relieved through the Kisan Rin Mochan Yojana (Farmer Loan Waiver Scheme).</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Additionally, sugarcane farmers have received Rs 13,193 crore in payments. In terms of procurement, the government has purchased 38,77,188 quintals of wheat and 4,11,851 quintals of paddy, ensuring financial stability and better income opportunities for farmers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The government has also launched several schemes to provide homes for the poor, helping many people achieve their dream of owning a house. In Saharanpur, 7,763 families received houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), while 34,094 beneficiaries were helped through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Additionally, for the first time, 1,221 people benefited from the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana (Rural).</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prioritizing cleanliness and health, the government also built a large number of toilets under the Swachh Bharat Mission, including 1,46,291 individual toilets and 902 community toilets.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>To support the weaker sections of society, the Yogi government introduced several pension schemes. As a result, 48,942 women benefited from the Nirashrit Mahila Pension Yojana, 51,787 senior citizens received support under the Old Age Pension Yojana, and 11,044 differently-abled individuals were assisted through the Divyangjan Pension Yojana.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Notably, the government also introduced various welfare schemes for women and children. Under these initiatives 8,221 couples were married under Samuhik Vivah Yojana, 54,352 girls received financial aid under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana and 1,29,688 women benefited from the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana for maternity support.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For the first time, 1,34,71,033 quintals of food grains (wheat/rice) were distributed under the Free Ration Scheme, ensuring food security for countless families. Additionally, the Yogi government took significant steps to support youth education by providing 66,991 students with tablets and smartphones for technical learning.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
