Pending Urban Infrastructure Projects in Mulund Must Be Completed Urgently – CM Devendra Fadnavis

Mumbai : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has instructed concerned authorities to expedite the completion of pending urban infrastructure projects in the Mulund Assembly constituency.

Chairing a review meeting at Sahyadri Guest House, CM Fadnavis issued directives to officials regarding the long-pending civic projects in the Mulund area.

The meeting was attended by Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, Mulund MLA Mihir Kotecha, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani, Additional Chief Secretary for Urban Development Asim Kumar Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary for Revenue Rajesh Kumar, Principal Secretary to the CM Ashwini Bhide, Secretary Shrikar Pardeshi, Mumbai Suburban District Collector Rajendra Kshirsagar, and Sanjay Gandhi National Park Director Archana Patil, among other senior officials.

CM Fadnavis directed that the long-pending proposal for constructing a Revenue Bhavan and a judicial building on government land at Mauje Mulund, Kurla Taluka, in Mumbai Suburban District be fast-tracked.

He also instructed officials to prepare a plan to develop a high-quality tourism center in Mulund and to urgently complete the renovation work of the Priyadarshini Sports Complex (Kalidas Auditorium) located in Mulund West.

The CM emphasized exploring land availability and other requirements for setting up a railway terminal in the Nahur area to benefit residents of the Mulund suburban region.

Further directives included complete waste clearance at the BMC dumping ground in Mulund East, initiate the construction of the approved Taluka Sports Complex in Mulund East without delay, and identify land for a petrol pump in view of the area’s growing population.

These steps, CM Fadnavis stated, are essential to enhance the quality of life and infrastructure services for the citizens of Mulund.
