Yogi govt recognizes 73 new Sanskrit colleges to boost Sanskrit education
Lucknow : The Yogi government has significantly promoted Sanskrit and employment-oriented education in Uttar Pradesh. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, 73 new Sanskrit colleges have been granted recognition across the state.
In a parallel effort, the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Sanskrit Education Council has launched four new diploma courses to enhance employability. Currently, diploma-level training is being provided in 184 institutions statewide.
The government’s continuous efforts to develop Sanskrit education are set to benefit lakhs of students. Establishing new Sanskrit institutions, particularly in rural areas, will open up opportunities for students to pursue Sanskrit studies and build a better future.
Sanskrit, a cornerstone of India’s ancient knowledge tradition, is also emerging as a medium for modern education and career growth. Recognizing its relevance, the state government is actively working to make Sanskrit education more accessible and career-oriented.
Shiv Lal, secretary of the Secondary Sanskrit Education Council, stated that employment opportunities in Sanskrit have expanded significantly due to the Yogi government’s initiatives.
He expressed confidence that these measures will benefit many youth across the state in the coming years.
