Lucknow: As part of the BJP Foundation Day fortnight celebrations, a conference of active BJP workers from the Lucknow North Assembly constituency was held on Wednesday. The event took place at Raghuvar Kripa Guest House on Sitapur Road.

The program began with floral tributes to Bharat Mata, party founder Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, and Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay by BJP Awadh region president Kamlesh Mishra, former city president and MLC Mukesh Sharma, former city president Manohar Singh, state spokesperson Sanjay Chaudhary, Lucknow North MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora, and other senior BJP officials. The speakers highlighted the achievements of 11 years of the Modi Government and 8 years of the Yogi Government.

Addressing the workers, MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora said Prime Minister Modi has instilled a deep sense of pride among Indian citizens. Recalling past times, he noted that a former Prime Minister had once admitted that only 15% of developmental funds reached the public, whereas under Modi’s leadership, 100% of the funds now reach beneficiaries directly. He elaborated on various schemes of the central and state governments. Highlighting development in Lucknow North, he said the region is setting new milestones under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. He added that funding has already been released in March for the construction of a flyover and underpass at Engineering College. Projects like the new four-lane bridge parallel to the Pakka Pul and a permanent bridge replacing the Pipa Pul are set to become hallmarks of development.

Regional BJP president Kamlesh Mishra spoke about the party’s activities and key initiatives under the BJP government, including Kashmir’s integration into the mainstream, empowerment of women, and realization of the Antyodaya dream. He thanked party workers for their dedication, commitment, and tireless efforts. MLC Mukesh Sharma energized the gathering with his speech.
