Minister of State for Forests Pays Tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh on the Auspicious Occasion of Baisakhi

Jaipur, 13 April: On the sacred occasion of Baisakhi, Minister of State for Environment and Forests (Independent Charge), Shri Sanjay Sharma, paid floral tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh at Bhagatsingh Circle in Alwar city along with members of the Purusharthi Samaj on Sunday.

Minister Sharma stated that Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s sacrifice will forever remain an inspiration for the youth of the nation. His martyrdom motivates us to work with a spirit of patriotism and service. He added that the valiant son of India, Bhagat Singh, infused new energy into the freedom struggle through his unique efforts. The nation will always remain indebted to him for his unparalleled sacrifice. He also said that Baisakhi symbolizes new energy and enthusiasm.

Inauguration of Water Cooler at General Hospital, Flagged Off Drinking Water Tanker for Drought-Affected Areas

Minister Sharma inaugurated a water cooler installed by the Purusharthi Samaj at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital. Applauding the initiative, he said that such efforts reflect the true spirit of public service and humanity. The water cooler will provide cool drinking water to patients and visitors at the hospital.

Additionally, he flagged off a water tanker service launched by the Purusharthi Samaj for people living in remote, water-scarce regions. He highlighted that the state government has made several provisions for solving Alwar’s drinking water issues in both its budgets. To ensure people do not face water shortages during summer, the entire ₹5 crore MLA fund has been dedicated to addressing Alwar city’s drinking water problems.

Under this initiative, 39 borewells have already been dug, and work is progressing rapidly to operationalize other approved borewells.

During the event, Minister Sharma also planted a sapling in the hospital campus as part of his daily pledge to plant trees, promoting the message of environmental conservation.

The event was attended by senior department officials, dignitaries, and a large number of citizens.
