“Shree Jagdamba Devasthan granted ‘B’ Class status; DCM Ajit Pawar urges swift development.”

Mumbai : Shree Jagdamba Devasthan Pilgrimage in Kotamgaon, Yevala Taluka of Nashik District, has been granted ‘B’ Class status under the Punyaslok Ahilya Devi Holkar Gramin Yatrasthal Yojana. The site attracts numerous devotees throughout the year, especially during the Navratri festival. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has instructed to expedite the area development plan implementation to ensure necessary facilities for these devotees.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar chaired a meeting today in the Legislature’s committee room regarding the Shree Jagdamba Devasthan Pilgrimage Development Plan. Present at the meeting were Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, Additional Chief Secretary of Finance O.P. Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary of Planning Dr. Rajagopal Deora, Secretary of Tourism Jayashree Bhoj, and Joint Secretary of Rural Development Kalu Valvi. Senior officials from the Collectorate participated via teleconference.

Ajit Pawar noted the significant number of women visiting Shree Jagdamba Devasthan during Navratri and emphasized the need to provide all necessary facilities for the devotees. He directed the village development department to rectify and forward the development plan proposal to the planning department. Additionally, he instructed the Guardian Minister of Nashik to convene a meeting on this matter.
