CM Yogi extends support to family of visually impaired daughters, sends essential aid

Lucknow : After distressing visuals of a struggling family in Hania Tola, Lakhimpur Kheri, went viral on social media, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath promptly intervened. Acting on his directives, officials delivered essential food supplies and conducted an on-site inquiry.

The investigation revealed the family’s severe financial hardship and the presence of visually impaired daughters. In response, authorities initiated immediate action to extend benefits under relevant government welfare schemes.
As soon as the family’s plight surfaced online, CM Yogi Adityanath directed DM Durga Shakti Nagpal to ensure immediate relief. Within hours, the Tehsildar, Lekhpal, and other officials reached the family with essential supplies.
DM Durga Shakti Nagpal stated that, on the Chief Minister’s instructions, relief was not only provided instantly, but efforts were also initiated to connect the family with multiple government welfare schemes. Soon, they will receive a food card and other necessary support.

Pratap’s family consists of six members — his three daughters and two sons. Among them, daughters Soni and Moni are visually impaired. Their mother, Ramrati, passed away two years ago. Pratap has been struggling to provide for his family, but poverty continued to overshadow his efforts.
However, CM Yogi Adityanath’s personal intervention has brought them much-needed relief. Pratap expressed, “I never imagined our voice would reach this far.”

- 2 kg onions

- 1 litre mustard oil
- 1 kg salt
