Review Meeting Held on Agricultural Department Schemes

A review meeting of the Agriculture Department’s various schemes was held on Wednesday in the conference hall of Pant Krishi Bhavan under the chairmanship of Mr. Rajan Vishal, Secretary of Agriculture and Horticulture.

During the meeting, Secretary Vishal reviewed departmental schemes and instructed officials to ensure timely implementation of all budget announcements. He emphasized the need to address any obstacles in the implementation process and ensure that the schemes are effectively executed at the ground level.

He also stressed that extensive awareness and promotion of these schemes should be carried out so that more farmers can benefit, thereby enhancing their agricultural productivity.

The meeting included detailed reviews and discussions on schemes such as farm ponds, water tanks (diggies), irrigation pipelines, agricultural machinery, fencing, the Govardhan Organic Fertilizer Scheme, vermicompost units, and seed minikit distribution, among others. Necessary directives were issued to ensure their proper execution.

Mr. Vishal further directed all officials to work on reducing the average disposal time of e-files. Senior officers were instructed to regularly monitor the e-file disposal times of their subordinate staff to ensure efficiency.

Prominent attendees included Commissioner of Agriculture Ms. Chinmayi Gopal, ATMA Director Dr. Suwalal Jat, Agricultural Financial Advisor Mr. Achaleshwar Meena, Additional Director (Extension) Mr. S.S. Shekhawat, Additional Director (Inputs) Mr. Gopal Lal Jat, Additional Director (Administration) Dr. Hoshiyar Singh, and other scheme-in-charge officers.
