128th Board Meeting of RSRDC – Work on the Lines of Corporations from Other States for Financial Strengthening: DCM Diya Kumari
Jaipur : The 128th Board Meeting of the Rajasthan State Road Development Corporation (RSRDC) was held on Thursday at the RSRDC Auditorium under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. Reviewing the financial status of the corporation, the Deputy Chief Minister directed that the working models of road corporations in states like Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh be studied to make RSRDC financially stronger. She emphasized that the best practices followed by corporations in other states that are performing well should be implemented in Rajasthan.
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari stressed the need to maintain high standards of quality in RSRDC’s projects and instructed the strengthening of the Quality Control Wing. She also directed that all ongoing projects should be completed within their stipulated time frames.
She further instructed that the national highways currently under RSRDC’s control should be swiftly handed over to the National Highways Authority (NHAI), so that central government funding can be received for their upgradation and maintenance.
During the meeting, officials informed the Deputy Chief Minister that the estimated turnover of RSRDC for the financial year 2025–26 is expected to be around ₹6,500 to ₹7,000 crore, nearly double compared to the previous year.
Present at the meeting were Additional Chief Secretary of the department, Mr. Praveen Gupta; Secretary of the Public Works Department, Mr. D.R. Meghwal; along with other officials from the PWD and RSRDC.
