Punjab Kings won the toss and opted to bat first, setting a formidable target of 201 runs. The opening duo of Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh put on an impressive 120-run stand, with Arya scoring effortlessly through cover drives and Prabhsimran showcasing his attacking style.

The two batsmen were in fine form, as Punjab’s power-play ended at 56/0. After a brief slowdown due to Kolkata’s spinners, Arya found his rhythm, reaching a half-century off just 27 balls.
