“Communication Is Vital in the Digital Age” – Prabhu Gaur Gopal Das

Tech Vari 2025: Embrace a Stress-Free Lifestyle Amidst Life’s Hustle

Mumbai – In today’s fast-paced digital era, even though people are constantly connected, emotional and mental distance is growing. Excessive use of mobile phones and social media has significantly reduced face-to-face interaction. In such times, communication becomes crucial. To effectively deal with daily struggles and lead a fulfilling life, adopting a stress-free lifestyle has become essential, said motivational speaker and author Prabhu Gaur Gopal Das during a session at Mantralaya on “Effective and Stress-Free Living,” held as part of the Tech Vari 2025 initiative.

Be Tech-Savvy

The world is rapidly advancing into the digital age, where smartphones, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and the internet have become integral to our daily lives. Becoming tech-savvy is no longer optional—it is a necessity. Thanks to online courses, mobile apps, and e-learning platforms, acquiring tech skills is now easier than ever, he noted.

Never Stop Learning – Be a Lifelong Student

According to Prabhu Gaur Gopal Das, learning is a lifelong process—from birth to death. Regardless of age, learning new skills, languages, or hobbies keeps the brain active and sharp. Regular mental stimulation is vital, even in old age, to prevent conditions like Alzheimer’s and dementia. In the digital age, various online platforms have made this more accessible than ever.

Take Care of Mental Health

Reserve time for yourself daily. Activities like meditation, reading, heartfelt conversations, or pursuing hobbies can promote mental well-being. Following a routine that includes regular exercise, a balanced diet, and adequate sleep helps in managing stress and preventing mental disorders.

Don’t Forget Culture and Values

While advancing technologically, one must not forget cultural heritage and moral values. It’s important to stay rooted in tradition even as we prepare for a smart, digital future. Cultural grounding provides balance and meaning in life, he emphasized.

Unspoken thoughts that linger in the mind can lead to mental health issues. A simple solution is to express these thoughts—either by sharing them with someone or writing them down. This practice helps lighten emotional burdens and supports mental health. For a happy and content life, compare yourself with who you were yesterday instead of comparing yourself with others. Rather than focusing on what you lack, being grateful for what you have leads to a more fulfilling life, he advised.

Concluding his talk, he poetically described the Mantralaya as a temple where technology is the deity and digital innovation is the sacred hymn. In today’s world, digital skills are essential for a successful future, and we must embrace them with reverence, he said.
