VC Prof. P. Prakash Babu, Met CM of Puducherry to Support for Community College Campuses at Mahe and Yanam
Prof. P. Prakash Babu, Vice-Chancellor and Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu, Director of Studies, Pondicherry University called on the Honorable Chief Minister of Puducherry Shri N. Rangasamy today at the Legislative Assembly to formally seek the support of the Government of Puducherry for the allocation of land for a permanent Pondicherry University Community College campus at Mahe and the establishment of a Pondicherry University Community College at Yanam, under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
This initiative is aimed at enhancing access to skill-based higher education and vocational training in these geographical regions, in alignment with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020
