“We Stand United for National Security”: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai
Massive Turnout at Tiranga Yatra Sends a Strong Message of Patriotism and Unity
Raipur | Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the Tiranga Yatra held today in the state capital, Raipur. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized that national security is a collective responsibility, and whenever the country’s security is at stake, “we all stand together — with our nation, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and our armed forces.”
He expressed pride in the enthusiastic participation of people from all walks of life — retired soldiers, social organizations, citizens, men, women, and children — who marched together with the tricolour, sending out a powerful message of unity, patriotism, and national pride.
Praising the Indian Army, CM Sai highlighted the success of “Operation Sindoor”, under the leadership of PM Modi, in which nine terrorist bases in Pakistan were destroyed. He said, “We salute the unmatched bravery and valour of our soldiers. Today’s India is a new India — capable of giving a befitting response to any act of aggression. We will not bow our heads; instead, the world will hear the resounding echo of our strength.”
He added that thanks to PM Modi’s skilled diplomacy, India’s global standing has risen, while Pakistan’s role in supporting terrorism has been exposed. CM Sai clarified that Operation Sindoor has been paused, not ended, and urged citizens to remain vigilant against rumours. “We have full faith in our leadership and armed forces. The nation is secure in their hands,” he assured.
Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal noted that the Tiranga Yatra symbolized national solidarity. He praised PM Modi’s leadership for taking the nation to new heights. Jagdalpur MLA Kiran Deo echoed similar sentiments, saying that under Modi, a new standard for a strong India is being set, where enemies receive a decisive response. He called Operation Sindoor a symbol of India’s pride and a true tribute to the grieving mothers and wives of martyrs.
Sanjay Srivastava, the event coordinator and Chairman of Chhattisgarh Civil Supplies Corporation, declared that all 1.4 billion Indians stand united for national security and resolutely support the Indian Army.
Around 10,000 people joined the Tiranga Yatra, paying tribute to the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers and the success of Operation Sindoor. The rally, which proceeded from Marine Drive to Nagar Ghadi Chowk, saw participants from all religions, castes, communities, and backgrounds waving the national flag and chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.
The event was graced by Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Tokhan Sahu, Deputy CM Arun Sao, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel, Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Social Welfare Minister Laxmi Rajwade, and Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma, among others.
