Gevrai Municipal Council Launches Development Works Worth ₹18 Crore
PTR Certificates Distributed by Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar
Gevrai, Beed District – A series of development works worth ₹18 crore were officially inaugurated through the Gevrai Municipal Council, alongside the distribution of Property Tax Receipts (PTRs) to occupants of encroached properties by Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister of Beed District, Ajit Pawar.
The event was graced by Animal Husbandry and Environment Minister Pankaja Munde, MLAs Dhananjay Munde, Vijay Singh Pandit, Satish Chavan, Vikram Kale, former MLA Amarsingh Pandit, Kalyan Akhade, Prof. Sunil Magare, Rajeshwar Chavan, Shankar Deshmukh, Swapnil Galdhar, along with several dignitaries, municipal councilors, administrative officers, and a large number of local residents.
Boosting Urban Infrastructure and Legalizing Settlements
The initiative aims to enhance physical infrastructure in urban areas, grant legal recognition to unauthorized constructions, and accelerate urban development. Speaking at the event, Ajit Pawar emphasized the government’s commitment to the holistic development of Gevrai city and hinted at the provision of additional funds in the future.
The development plan includes construction and improvement of roads, drainage systems, water supply lines, street lights, and other civic amenities, making it a significant milestone in the growth of Gevrai.

- Cement roads and drainage in Shivai Nagari, Ahilya Nagar, Sevalal Nagar, and Sawata Nagar
- Dome construction in Sevalal Nagar
- Protective wall around the cemetery in the Islampura area
- Cement road and drainage on Takadgaon Road and in Krishnai Nagar
- Commercial complex construction near the Panchayat Samiti
- Beautification of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Chowk
- Cement road and drainage in Old Gevrai and Korbu Mohalla
- Construction of crematorium for the Veershaiv community
- Cement roads and drainage in Tayyab Nagar and Sanjay Nagar
- Buddha Vihar construction in Sanghamitra Nagar
- Health center construction in Veer Lahuji Nagar
- Connection of Express Feeder at the Water Purification Center
- Construction of Shaadi Khana (wedding hall) in Gevrai city
These projects are expected to significantly improve urban infrastructure and quality of life for the residents of Gevrai.
