Chief Secretary Visits Salasar, Offers Prayers at Balaji Temple — Stresses Quality Services and Effective Governance
Jaipur — Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant visited Salasar in Churu district on Tuesday. During his visit, he held a review meeting at the IT Centre of the Salasar Gram Panchayat office, where he issued clear directives to officers regarding flagship schemes, departmental functions, citizen services, and governance mechanisms.
He emphasized that delivering quality services is the core aim of the government and urged officials to ensure efficient departmental management while providing high-standard services to the public. He instructed officials to monitor services regularly and promptly address complaints received through any medium.
In light of the summer season, Shri Pant directed officials to maintain robust management of electricity, drinking water, and healthcare services. He also stressed the need for field machinery to remain alert and for resources to be adequately available.
The Chief Secretary called for complete transition to the e-file module in departmental offices and emphasized reducing file disposal times. He instructed timely and quality resolution of cases registered on the Sampark Portal, aiming for high satisfaction levels among complainants.
He advised the District Collector to regularly monitor the implementation of government schemes, ensure field inspections by officers, and conduct timely analyses of departmental activities and public service delivery.
Shri Pant directed the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) to prioritize the distribution of ABHA IDs and ensure that key health schemes benefit citizens as intended. He stressed preparedness for disease prevention during summer and maintaining quality in departmental project execution.
To the PHED officials, he highlighted the importance of quality and timely execution of projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission and other drinking water schemes, urging strict monitoring and inspections to prevent negligence.
In his interaction with the Chief District Education Officer (CDEO), he called for continuous improvement in the education system. He encouraged maintaining the district’s educational progress under the CM’s “Educated Rajasthan” campaign and focusing on quality outcomes. He also instructed training for students enrolled under the “Code Churu” innovation to achieve productive and utility-driven results.
During the meeting, he also reviewed action against drug trafficking, illegal mining, and crimes against women. He discussed handling of religious and communal events, highway accidents, law and order, and the implementation of new criminal laws. Further discussions included pending conversion and mutation cases, average disposal time, performance metrics for government officials, Sampark Portal updates, training under iGOT Karmayogi Mission, and land acquisition cases.
He also reviewed the status and implementation of key state and central schemes such as the state budget’s land allocation goals, Jal Jeevan Mission, AMRUT Yojana, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Namo Drone Didi, Solar Didi, Hariyalo Rajasthan Campaign, CM Swanidhi Yojana, the Karma Bhoomi to Matru Bhoomi Campaign, CM Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan, revenue generation efforts, and the Rising Rajasthan initiative. Following the meeting, the Chief Secretary inspected the Gram Panchayat office at Salasar and assessed the arrangements in place.
He also met with District Collector Shri Abhishek Surana to obtain detailed updates on local governance, departmental operations, and the implementation of public welfare schemes in the district. Senior district-level officers from various departments were present during the visit.
