Jai Haritima Women’s Committee Celebrates the Success of Operation Sindoor

Tributes Paid to Victims of Pahalgam Terror Attack

Raipur : The Jai Haritima Women’s Committee paid tribute to the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces and celebrated the success of Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. The celebration took place at the Indira Gandhi Agricultural University campus in Raipur, under the leadership of Committee President Mrs. Mamta Chandel.

The event began with a heartfelt tribute to the Indian citizens who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack. Members observed a one-minute silence to honor the victims and offered floral tributes.

Following this solemn moment, the committee celebrated the success of Operation Sindoor with great enthusiasm. Members raised the national flag and chanted patriotic slogans like “Jai Hind” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”, expressing their deep respect for the brave soldiers of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Adding to the patriotic spirit, the committee members dressed in tricolor-themed outfits and served tricolor-themed dishes, turning the event into a symbolic and colorful tribute to the nation.

The event also featured special guest Chef Garima Sharma, who conducted a cooking demonstration. She taught the attendees how to prepare healthy and delicious millet-based recipes like millet cake and biscuits, sharing valuable culinary tips along the way.

The program was smoothly conducted by members of the executive committee, including Secretary Mrs. Durga Prajapati, Joint Secretary Mrs. Deepti Mai Das, Vice President Mrs. Mamta Lakhera, Treasurer Manjusha Pali, and Sports Coordinator Mrs. Preeti Bhandarkar.

The event successfully combined remembrance, patriotism, and empowerment, honoring the spirit of unity and resilience in the face of terrorism.
