After Global Investors Summit 2025, 1,744 acres of land Allotted to 46 Industrial Units in the state: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the year 2025 is being celebrated as the “Year of Industry.” He said this is a remarkable time for Madhya Pradesh, where the fragrance of investment is spreading across the nation. The state is witnessing continuous development, and in this journey, industrialists from across the country are welcome. Public representatives, industrialists, and officials are working together to contribute to the state’s industrial growth.

He expressed happiness that following the Global Investors Summit (GIS) held in February 2025, Madhya Pradesh has received investment proposals not just from across India but also from abroad. It is a matter of pride that representatives from more than 65 countries participated in the summit.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav handed over allotment orders and letters of intent to representatives of 15 industrial units. He emphasized the need to adopt technology in this era of rapid technological advancement, noting that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the “Make in India” movement is thriving.

Dr. Yadav was addressing the “Food Processing Entrepreneurs’ Conference” at the Agriculture-Industry Conclave held in Narsinghpur district on Monday.

He said that in order to realize the vision of a developed Madhya Pradesh, balanced progress is needed across all sectors. The state has immense potential in mining, textiles, agriculture, and food processing industries. Agriculture-Industry Conclaves are being organized at four locations to promote agro-based industries. Currently, Madhya Pradesh leads the nation with an agricultural growth rate of over 12%.

The Chief Minister said that the successful organization of GIS 2025 has opened new opportunities for industries in the state. The state government has allotted 1,744 acres of land to 46 industrial units. These units have proposed a total investment of approximately Rs. 24,500 crore, which is expected to generate around 35,000 jobs.

Among the major allocations; Patanjali Group, Rewa received the highest land allotment of 433 acres, Ultratech Cement, Sidhi received 264 acres, BEML, Raisen was allotted 148 acres, Gautam Solar received 55 acres, and Glaxo Smith Asia Pvt. Ltd. was allotted 40 acres.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also shared that during today’s event, investment proposals worth Rs. 4,376 crore were received from 52 units, which are expected to create over 6,100 employment opportunities. These proposals will accelerate industrial development in the state and create new employment avenues for youth.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Narsinghpur district is renowned across the country for its sugarcane cultivation. He stated that the target for sprinkler irrigation in sugarcane farming will be increased. He emphasized that it is the government’s resolve to enhance farmers’ income and ensure they receive fair prices for their produce.

Dr. Yadav mentioned that there will be greater establishment of food processing-based industries. The budget has been increased across sectors such as agriculture, horticulture, and fruit-vegetable production. He affirmed that the government is committed to boosting farmers’ income and creating employment opportunities for the youth.

He added that the state’s progressive policies are aimed at resolving the challenges faced by investors.

Immense Potential for Agri-Based and Food Processing Industries in Narsinghpur: Minister Shri Patel

Panchayat and Rural Development and Labour Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel extended heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for organizing the “Krishi Udyog Samagam-2025” in Narsinghpur district. He also thanked the investors and industrialists from across the country for participating in the event.

Minister Shri Patel said that the farmers of Narsinghpur have significantly contributed to the progress of the state and the nation by adopting research and new technologies. He highlighted that Narsinghpur is the highest sugarcane-producing district in the state, home to the largest number of sugar factories. The district offers favorable conditions for agriculture and holds vast potential for agro-processing industries.

Under the CM’s Leadership, the State Is Witnessing Remarkable Progress: Minister Shri Rajput

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput stated that since Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav assumed office, Madhya Pradesh has been achieving remarkable progress across all sectors. He said that under the CM’s leadership, the state is striking a balance between industrial prosperity and agricultural innovation, taking Madhya Pradesh to new heights.

Shri Rajput added that through the Regional Industry Conclave (RIC), local industrialists are being directly engaged, accelerating the investment and industrial setup process. With the help of the Single Window System, necessary approvals are now being granted swiftly, enabling many local entrepreneurs to establish industries and generate employment.

Additional Chief Secretary, Horticulture and Food Processing, Shri Anupam Rajan, in his address, noted that the state has immense potential in agriculture and horticulture. By aligning this potential with industrial development, extensive employment opportunities can be created. He emphasized that the state’s progressive industrial policies, business-friendly environment, and robust infrastructure offer ideal conditions for comprehensive industrial growth, especially in food processing.

Principal Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Shri Raghvendra Singh, stated that the investment-friendly policies of the Madhya Pradesh government are setting an example for the rest of the country. He noted that the state’s MSME and Startup policies are among the most highly regarded in India. He added that the government has devised a concrete strategy to promote both industrial and agriculture-based investments. Under Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s leadership, the state is rapidly advancing toward integrating agriculture with industry.

Vivek Maheshwari, Managing Director of Narmada Sugar Factory, stated that this event has established a strong bridge between agriculture and industry. He expressed gratitude to the farmers of Narsinghpur and highlighted that ethanol production from sugarcane is helping reduce India’s dependence on petroleum imports, advancing the country’s journey toward self-reliance.
