Police Must Respond Swiftly to Women’s Complaints – Guardian Minister Shambhuraj Desai

Satara : Guardian Minister Shambhuraj Desai has directed police officers and staff to immediately respond to all complaints from women, especially those related to mental harassment, eve-teasing, and dowry issues, and to take strict action against the culprits.

Minister Desai was reviewing the law and order situation at a meeting held in the Shivtej Hall of the police department. The meeting was attended by Special Inspector General of Police (Kolhapur Range) Shashikant Mahavarkar, Superintendent of Police Tushar Doshi, and other police officials.

He emphasized the need for effective implementation of the Women’s Pilot Project in the district and said that all complaints from women should be handled sensitively.
