Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar Offers Prayers at Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj Temple
Pune : Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister of the district, Ajit Pawar, today visited the Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj Sansthan at Shri Kshetra Dehu and offered prayers at the Shri Vitthal Rukmini Temple, Sant Tukaram Maharaj Shila Mandir, and the Shri Ram Temple.
On this occasion, MLA Sunil Shelke, Sansthan President H.B.P. Jalindar More, Palakhi Sohla Chief H.B.P. Ganesh Maharaj More, H.B.P. Vaibhav Maharaj More, H.B.P. Dilip Maharaj More, Trustee H.B.P. Vikramsingh More, H.B.P. Umesh Maharaj More, and H.B.P. Laxman Maharaj More, among others, were present. After the prayers, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar was felicitated on behalf of the Sansthan.
In a deeply devotional atmosphere filled with the rhythmic beats of Taal-Mrudung, and chants of “Dnyanoba Mauli,” “Mauli, Mauli”, thousands of Warkaris (devotees) were immersed in spiritual fervor. With Tulsi Vrindavan on their heads and Dindis and flags in their hands, the devotees are all set to begin the Ashadhi Wari pilgrimage procession of Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj, departing today towards Pandharpur.
