Dharti Aaba Abhiyan Launched in Serchhip District

Serchhip : The Government of India has launched various developmental schemes aimed at uplifting citizens, and to ensure that these schemes are effectively implemented and widely utilized, an intensive awareness and outreach campaign is scheduled to take place from June 15 to June 30, 2025.

As part of this initiative, teams from various departments involved in implementing development schemes have been dispatched to 23 selected villages across Serchhip District starting today. These teams will educate and inform the public about the available government schemes.

Under the leadership of Block Development Officer Dr. Malsawmtluanga Fanchun (Serchhip RD Block) and Dr. Peter Malsawmtluanga (East Lungdar RD Block), two dedicated teams will carry out field visits throughout the campaign period.

Today, the campaign was conducted in Chhingchhip and Hualtu villages under the Serchhip RD Block, while upcoming events are scheduled to take place in Keitum and Bungtlang. Similarly, in the East Lungdar RD Block, the campaign was held today in Khawlailung and N. Mualcheng, and will continue in Lungchhuan village tomorrow.
