Tribal Women Laud Government Camp for Prompt Resolution of Long-Pending Issues
Raipur : Tribal women expressed heartfelt appreciation for the government-organized benefit saturation camps after their long-standing problems were effectively addressed. Residents Damin Bai and Iyan Bai were especially overwhelmed upon receiving essential documents such as a new Aadhaar card and a ration card for their families.

Under the Central Government’s Dhartii Aba Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan, which aims to deliver essential services and personal entitlements in tribal areas, various welfare initiatives are being implemented. Benefit saturation camps organized across Chhattisgarh, especially in Balod district, have proven to be immensely beneficial for tribal communities, providing them with swift access to numerous government welfare schemes.
One such camp held in Marri Bangla village of Dondi Lohara block witnessed enthusiastic participation from rural tribal women, who praised the initiative for resolving their critical issues. Damin Bai, a resident of Marri Bangla, expressed joy after her infant son Tejas was successfully registered for an Aadhaar card during the camp. She shared that due to her household responsibilities, she was unable to travel to the Choice Centre in the nearby village of Deori to complete the process, which had caused her stress for months. She now looks forward to receiving her son’s Aadhaar card soon.
Likewise, Iyan Bai from Gehira Nawagaon was visibly happy after obtaining a new ration card for her family through the same camp. She stated that getting such essential documents from a nearby location without repeated visits to gram panchayat offices is a great relief for families like hers. According to her, the immediate issuance of ration cards has helped many poor and marginalized tribal families who previously struggled to access such services.
Both women acknowledged the benefits of the government’s grassroots outreach and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for launching people-centric welfare programs. They described the campaign as a transformative and highly welfare-oriented initiative by the Central Government that truly understands and resolves the problems of tribal communities in remote regions.
