Achieve Success through Consistent Effort and Dedication – Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan

Symbiosis University Holds Convocation Ceremony for International Students

Pune : Success in life can be attained through a trinity of consistent efforts, dedicated spirit, and clear goals. If students move forward with firm determination, combine their efforts with focus, and remain undeterred by setbacks, they will surely achieve their aspirations, said Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan.

He was addressing the Convocation Ceremony for International Students organized at Symbiosis University. Also present were University Chancellor Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ramakrishnan Raman, the Governor’s Secretary Dr. Prashant Narnavare, and Registrar Dr. M.S. Shejul.

The Governor noted that feeling fatigued or discouraged is natural, but one must not stop there. Every effort contributes to shaping life and finding joy. A cheerful mind energizes action and provides motivation, so students should cultivate the habit of enjoying their work. He encouraged students to build success in life by making good use of the knowledge they have gained so far.

Governor Radhakrishnan further said that many countries around the world—especially those with growing populations—are now looking to India to fulfill their skilled manpower needs. Indian students must be ready to seize this opportunity. Maharashtra’s universities are being encouraged to launch short-term foreign language courses in German, French, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, and other languages. This would give students a competitive edge in the global job market. Given Pune’s status as a hub for the automotive industry, media, and small-scale enterprises, students have excellent local career opportunities, he added.

Chancellor Dr. S.B. Mujumdar remarked that the university works under the motto of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” – the world is one family – and that students from several nations are currently studying at Symbiosis with that inclusive spirit.

At the convocation, 82 students from 22 countries were awarded degrees by the Governor. A new edition of the university’s prospectus was also released during the ceremony.

Pro-Chancellor Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, in her introductory speech, highlighted the various academic programs and initiatives currently underway at the university.
