He highlighted how, despite numerous hardships, the association has continued to thrive and contribute meaningfully to the progress of Lawngtlai. Recognizing LWA as the largest women’s organization in the district, he lauded their impactful role in social advancement and empowerment.

Dr. Chinzah praised the Council Veng LWA Branch for promoting and preserving the Lai language and culture, encouraging them to keep moving forward with pride and unity. He noted that the Central and State governments are working hard to address the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and called upon LWA members to remain cooperative and proactive in governance efforts.

Dr. Chinzah also commended the Mizoram government’s steps in improving women’s representation, highlighting the inclusion of a woman Cabinet-rank minister and the ongoing commitment to uplift women’s status.

Regarding development matters, he shared that the Chief Minister had intervened to resolve the pending LADC honorarium issue and that the government’s flagship Mizoram Universal Health Care Scheme (MUHCS) is proving highly beneficial by covering health expenses without upfront payments, encouraging broader public participation.

Dr. Chinzah praised the LWA as a vital civil society group, urging them to remain strong, visionary, and supportive. He encouraged members to renew their mission and continue initiatives such as “Bawmh Chanh Hau Bawmh” (Support one another in hardship), as pillars of community life.
