Deputy CM Eknath Shinde Applauds Students’ AI Innovations
Launches ‘Tech Wari’ Initiative Online
Pandharpur : Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde recently inaugurated a unique initiative called ‘Tech Wari’ via video call. The event was organized by Arihant Public School in Pandharpur, coinciding with the spiritually significant occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi.
While various cultural and religious programs were held across the city, Arihant School took an innovative step by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technology into its celebration. The event showcased technology-driven projects created by students, collectively branded under the name ‘Tech Wari’.
During the virtual inauguration, Deputy CM Shinde interacted directly with the students and sought details about their AI-based innovations. A key part of the discussion focused on how these technologies could be practically applied in everyday life—particularly to benefit the lakhs of Warkaris who visit Pandharpur during the annual pilgrimage.
The Deputy CM appreciated a range of projects, including:
- Automated classrooms
- Smart attendance systems
- Energy-efficient mechanisms
Impressed by their creativity, he instructed his Special Duty Officer, Mangesh Chivate, to study the feasibility of implementing such AI projects in rural schools across the state.
The event was presided over by Solapur District Superintendent of Police Atul Kulkarni, and featured the felicitation of both participating students and the teachers who guided them throughout the project development process.
The initiative was praised as an inspiring blend of spirituality and technology, demonstrating how education can evolve to meet modern challenges while honoring cultural traditions.
