Fourth Foundation Day of Delphic Council of Rajasthan Celebrated in Jaipur
Jaipur : The Delphic Council of Rajasthan is actively working to give Rajasthani art and cultural heritage both national and international recognition. It is also providing a meaningful platform to identify and nurture young artistic talents and preserve traditional art forms, said Mrs. Shreya Guha, Chairperson of the Council.
Addressing the Fourth Foundation Day celebrations of the Delphic Council of Rajasthan held at Harishchandra Mathur RIPA, Mrs. Guha emphasized that the Council is committed to promoting the true spirit of art and uplifting local artists through grassroots efforts.
She highlighted that for the past four years, the Delphic Council has been dedicated to promoting art and culture in Rajasthan. To further engage the youth in areas such as visual arts, music, literature, dance, handicrafts, photography, and filmmaking, the Council has launched several Delphic Clubs across educational institutions.
Currently, seven Delphic Clubs are already functioning in the state. Additionally, three new clubs are being established at Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Maheshwari Public School, and Dharav High School. Mrs. Guha added that through these clubs, the youth of Rajasthan will be offered opportunities not only within the state but also across India and abroad to showcase their talents and engage with their cultural roots.
Representatives from various schools praised the initiatives and activities organized by the Delphic Council of Rajasthan. During the event, Mrs. Guha unveiled the Council’s new logo, and a short film was screened chronicling the four-year journey of the Delphic Council.
As part of the celebration, members of the Council also conducted a tree plantation drive within the Harishchandra Mathur RIPA campus.
Prominent attendees included Dr. Jitendra Soni (IAS), General Secretary of the Delphic Council of Rajasthan, Nishant Jain (IAS), Shipra Sharma (RAS), Kirti Sharma, Naveen Tripathi, Rahul Sood, Manisha Gulyani, Shuvankar Biswas, Shabana Dagar, Abdul Latif Usta, Dinesh Rana, Tulika Gupta, Director of IICD, Prof. Dr. Arunanshu Haldar, Vice Chancellor, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Ms. Preeti Sangwan (Vidyashram School), Ms. Pramendra Khangarot (MGD School), Ms. Manju Sharma (MPS School), and Ms. Priyanka N. Mathur (Palace School) among others.
