₹32.32 Crore Aid Extended to 3,542 Patients in Nashik Division through Chief Minister’s Relief Fund
Mumbai, Aug 2025 : The Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) Cell has emerged as a reliable support system for economically weaker and underprivileged patients across Maharashtra. Demonstrating remarkable efficiency, the Nashik Division has provided substantial medical assistance amounting to ₹32.32 crore to 3,542 patients over the past seven months.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the CMRF Cell has adopted a paperless and digital workflow. The establishment of district-level cells has eliminated the need for patients to visit the state secretariat (Mantralaya) for aid applications. The Relief Fund covers 20 critical illnesses, including cochlear implants (for children aged 2–6 years), heart, liver, kidney, lung, and bone marrow transplants, cancer surgeries, accident cases, neurological disorders, cardiac conditions, pediatric surgeries, neonatal illnesses, as well as burn and electrocution victims.

- Aadhaar Card
- Ration Card
- Geo-tagged Photograph (mandatory if the patient is hospitalized)
- Income Certificate (annual income should not exceed ₹1.60 lakh)
- Medical Reports and Cost Estimates
- Hospital Registration in Digital System
- Police Diary Entry (for accident cases)
- ZTCC Registration Receipt (for organ transplants)
