Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi: A Wave of Happiness on Farmers’ Faces

Farmers Express Gratitude to the Prime Minister for This Farmer-Friendly Scheme

Raipur, Aug 2025 : Under the good governance of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the 20th installment payment has been disbursed to farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme, aimed at providing financial support to farmers. This has brought a wave of happiness to the faces of farmers across the district.

Dhaneshwar Banjara, a farmer from Dharampura village in Mungeli development block, praised this ambitious scheme of the government. He said that receiving Rs. 6,000 annually under the Samman Nidhi Scheme provides significant financial assistance for agricultural activities. He plans to utilize this amount to purchase fertilizers, repair irrigation equipment, and other farming needs. He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, and the entire administration for running this farmer-centric initiative.

Similarly, Devkumar Tonde, another farmer from Dharampura village, appreciated the scheme and thanked the government and administration for their efforts.

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the Kisan Sammelan held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, transferred the 20th installment amount directly into the accounts of farmers under the PM-KISAN Scheme. In this installment, over Rs. 18 crore was transferred into the accounts of 91,752 eligible farmers in the district.
