Financial Assistance Provided to Disaster-Affected Persons from the State Disaster Response Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund
During his visit to the disaster-affected area, the Chief Minister approved financial assistance of ₹1,30,000 per house owner from the State Disaster Response Fund for 15 families/house owners of village Sainji whose houses were completely destroyed due to the disaster. The beneficiaries were: Prabha Devi, Neelam Singh Bhandari, Bhagat Singh Bhandari, Pawan Singh Bhandari, Vimla Devi, Shakha Devi, Paveli Devi, Vimal Singh, Diwan Singh, Ravindra Singh, Jaswant Singh, Gopal Singh, Manoj Singh, Kripal Singh, and Hemraj Singh. The assistance was provided to the respective families through cheques.
In village Buransi, the families/heirs of Asha Devi (wife of Shri Prem Singh) — Anil Singh and Shubham Singh — and Vimla Devi (wife of Shri Balwant Singh) — Vikram Singh and Deepak Singh — who lost their lives in the disaster, were given financial assistance of ₹2,00,000 per deceased from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Additionally, in Buransi, Kesar Singh (son of Shri Amar Singh) was provided financial assistance of ₹1,30,000 through cheque for the complete destruction of his residential building.
