Khawzawl Holds ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Rally

Khawzawl, Aug 2025:Today at 7 a.m., a Har Ghar Tiranga Rally was held from Khawzawl Taidawnkawn to the DC office, led by Khawzawl Joint VC President, Mr. C. Vanlalzawna.

On the occasion, Mr. R. Lalrinhlua, SDC (P), delivered a speech. He explained the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, noting its aim to remind people of India’s hard-earned Independence, to encourage citizens to honour and respect the sacrifices made by freedom fighters, and to instil renewed pride in the Indian National Flag and the knowledge of how to display it correctly. He also showcased various forms of the Indian flag and spoke about the importance accorded to the National Flag under the Indian Constitution, including the strict penalties for any form of insult to it.

Addressing the participants, Mr. R. Lalrinhlua urged everyone to renew their respect for the national flag, to learn proper ways of honouring it, to stay away from false narratives about freedom struggles, and to continually value and respect the contributions of those who fought for the nation’s independence.

Students and teachers from Khawzawl Government High School, Government Middle School, Government LF School, Government Higher Secondary School, PES Khawzawl, and PES Vengthar, along with DC office staff, participated in the rally.
