Inauguration of Shri Ganesh Mahasangh Festival Committee’s Central Office

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Aug 2025 – “Plan the development works to be carried out in the city in advance. After the planning is complete, request the necessary funds. Then carry out quality work and provide the best facilities to the people — for this, the government will always be with you,” assured Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar today to the residents of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

The central office of the Shri Ganesh Mahasangh Festival Committee for 2025–26 was inaugurated by Deputy CM Pawar near Chhatrapati Shivaji High School. Guardian Minister Sanjay Shirsat, MLC Satish Chavan, MLAs Vikram Kale and Sanjay Kenekar, Ganesh Mahasangh founder Prithviraj Pawar, current president Aniket Nillawar, Police Commissioner Pravin Pawar, and other office bearers and members were present.

In his address, Deputy CM Pawar stated that public works must be of high quality and funds must be spent appropriately. “All public representatives and the administration should jointly plan the works to be undertaken in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district first, and then submit proposals. There will be no shortage of funds for the right projects,” he said. He also instructed that alternative facilities should be provided to those affected by the city’s anti-encroachment drives.

Pawar further announced plans to set up an incubation center costing ₹200 crore in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to provide trained manpower for industries. He also directed that a complete proposal be prepared for the memorial of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj at Khultabad.

Welcoming the Ganesh Mahasangh’s tree plantation initiative, Pawar urged every member to plant one tree. He also praised the committee’s de-addiction campaign aimed at guiding the youth in the right direction.
