Lieutenant Commander Jui Bhope Leads the Prime Minister’s Guard
New Delhi, Aug 2025 :At the 79th Independence Day parade held at the Red Fort, Maharashtra’s own Lieutenant Commander Jui Bhope took charge as the parade commander of the Prime Minister’s Guard.

Originally from Nagpur, Jui Bhope joined the Indian Navy in 2015 and is currently serving as a Lieutenant Commander. During the historic Independence Day ceremony, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag, she had the honor of leading the Prime Minister’s Guard—responsible for security and ceremonial drill at the event.
Last year, at the Republic Day parade, Jui Bhope also led the Indian Navy’s tableau. She completed her schooling at Somalwar High School in Nagpur and went on to earn a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Raisoni College of Engineering.
Her achievement of leading the security contingent for the country’s Prime Minister has been widely lauded at all levels.
